Take Center Stage – Acting 2 (Grades 3-5)

This fun and creative virtual class is designed to get students up on their feet! We will introduce young actors to techniques that will develop their minds, voices and bodies for a confident and honest performance before an audience. Students will participate in physical and vocal warm ups through innovative games and activities. Students will also engage with improvisation and scripted scene study, learning how to explore conflict and action on stage. As collaboration is essential to the creation of theatre, students will develop the social and teamwork skills required to find creative solutions to problems. They will learn to confidently express their own ideas and respect the ideas of others. Come join the fun!
*On our last day of class, we will have either a live-streamed or filmed performance of scenes, skits and improvs. Friends and family are welcome to tune in virtually.
