ABOUT US
Fairfield Performing Arts Studio (FPAS) was founded in 2008 by Jennifer Kenny, the current owner/director. FPAS provides professional acting instruction through group classes, summer camp, and private coaching, designed to help people of all ages build their confidence and stimulate their imagination!
Coaching is provided in a safe, fun, and supportive environment through a careful balance of learning and creative expression.
Skills that are taught include:
- stage
- improvisational
- music
- movement
- technique
- character development
- audition preparation
- voice
- diction
In group settings, activities include:
- skits
- theater games
- improvisational exercises

FPAS helps develop self-confidence in our child, in addition to singing, dancing and acting skills. Moreover, the quality of the production that was presented after just 3 weeks is impressive! My daughter loves the programs and camps of FPAS!

When my daughter booked her first Lead in a Feature Film, we did private lessons with Jennifer and she really helped Lindsey prepare for her role. Her schedule was flexible, she was patient and enthusiastic and even patiently answered all of my questions! Everyone on set was so impressed with how prepared Lindsey was for someone so young, and that is in great part thanks to Jennifer. We came back again for private lessons to prepare for a Broadway audition, and I can’t say enough good things about Jennifer and Fairfield Performing Arts!

My daughter Anna has been attending Jennifer’s camp since it first opened, and there is nowhere she’d rather be during her summer break! Unlike other drama camps that Anna has attended, Jennifer creates an atmosphere of camaraderie amongst the campers, with everyone getting personalized attention in a safe and caring environment. She absolutely loves it!

At Fairfield Performing Arts Studio I learn acting, dancing and singing. Before I went to FPAS I tried acting camps and classes, they weren't fun. But when I went to FPAS my mind opend up to acting, singing, dancing and being on stage.

Dear Jennifer – I just wanted to shoot off a quick email letting you know that Annamarie really enjoyed herself tonight. Although hesitant at first, she went in with an open mind and thoroughly absorbed everything you taught. She wished that the class was longer and can not wait for next week. Walking into Fairfield Performing Arts Studio summer camp every June is a moment I look forward to all year. Jennifer's lessons in acting, singing and dancing not only made me a well- rounded performer with skills in every aspect of musical theatre, but also allowed me to grow as a person and meet many lifelong friends. Jen's trust in me with many difficult roles and her guidance in helping me execute them while still creating a wonderful camp experience and has made my three years at her summer camp an unforgettable experience!
