All campers must have a completed  State of Connecticut Department of Education Health Exam Record on file. All required health forms must be submitted by June 1st.

If a child requires medication while at camp, the following guidelines apply:

  • All medications must be brought to camp in their original packaging, clearly labeled with the camper’s name, medication name, dosage instructions, and the prescribing physician’s information.
  • Medications requiring refrigeration will be stored in a designated, secure refrigerator accessible only to authorized staff.
  • Non-refrigerated medications will be kept in a locked cabinet or secure container, inaccessible to campers.
  • Staff will maintain proper hand hygiene before and after administering any medication.
  • Oral medications will be administered with water or as directed by the prescribing physician.
  • Topical medications will be applied according to provided instructions, with precautions to prevent contamination.
  • Specialized medications (e.g., eye drops, ear drops) must be administered by the parent or guardian, following the prescribing physician’s specific guidelines.
