Take Center Stage: Acting 2 (Grades 3-5)

This class is designed to introduce actors to specific techniques that develop their mind, voice and body for a confident and honest theatre performance. Improvisation and scripted scene study provide fluency in the acting fundamentals of conflict, action, and given circumstances. As collaboration is essential to the creation of theatre, students will develop social skills required to find creative solutions for problems as a member of a team. They will learn to confidently express their own ideas and respect the ideas of others. Actors will be given roles, scripts and will need to memorize as part of their rehearsal process.
